Today I take sick leave in my work cause the pain at my back. So I need to take rest for today and have massage. Later, I plan to go to the clinic of my father friend to ask some remedy. There’s someone here know the Salonpas. It is helpful to the back pain?

Hope you feel better. Yes, putting Salonpas (medicated strip) will relieve the pain.

The only medication that helps my back pain is Novalgin (Metamizole), a prescription is needed.

You have to find out what caused the back pain. It may be a muscle pain or perhaps a slightly broken backbone. I am not sure. I suggest you should have it x-ray just to be on the safe side.

I have a box of Salonpas plaster ready whenever I have back pain ( I have mild congenital scoliosis that luckily does not progress). I put Salonpas on the sore spot and lie down on a hot water bag. I rarely or never take any synthetic med, prescription or non-prescriprion ( except )supplements and vitamins since I prefer natural traditional medicine if something bothers me. Just don't put Salonpas if you are going somewhere since it has a weird, funny smell

I made a comment in your previous post, I have used them before. Its not as good as tiger balm, biofreeze or icy hot but it can help if its all you can find. You can also try ibuprofen, acetaminophen or naproxen. also hot baths, hot water bottles and ice packs are useful. Alternate the ice and heat 20 minutes on 20 minutes off between the heat and the ice.
