Did you get spanked by your mum? / myLot

We all are brought up by a very loving, caring, kind beautiful mother but that doesn't stop you for getting spanked whenever you do something wrong especially when she warns you not to do something and you go ahead to do it. Let's make this interesting, what are your experience and now that you are old enough, looking back at the memories, what do you think ?

I got disciplined, sure. I was never spanked, though. Most of the time I was either sent to my room or given the silent treatment.

No never. My Mom was beaten has a child and she said she would never do that to her children,.

First of all, we are not all brought up by a very loving, caring, kind beautiful mother. Some are, some aren't. But I agree loving discipline is necessary.

True talk but nobody would want to describe their mother's as a evil or useless mother. A mother will always be a mother no matter what she does or look like.
