It’s Italian Food! And we love it!

I am half Irish and 1/2 Italian. My mom always said a fiery mix! Can be at times but I find it is a good blend of tastes in food and life in general. The Italian in my days no matter what day, month or year, I love pasta. Sauce with meatballs, just meat sauce on pasta or re Iowa with garlic & oil & seasoning. I love the smell of sauce cooking and you can feed many people with one big recipe. Leftovers taste even better. My hubby is 100% Italian so you can imagine the tips from his mom over the past 37 years we have been married. Fresh parsley and basil plants are staples in our house. Fresh good quality olive oil a must on any budget over the years. Fresh garlic & the best blocks of Italian cheese ready to be grated at any given time. Tonight although the temp. Is in the 80’s here in CT, I want pasta! Tomato salad and a fresh loaf of Italian bread! Yummy
