Driver came so late

Philippines
July 27, 2022 10:07pm CST
We went to the airport early at four in the morning expecting our relatives from the arrival area. They already arrived, but the process took a few more hours. When they finally got out, they had some isses with a foreign passenger who stole their health pass and name tags. Now the worst problem finally came, we couldn't contact the driver. When he did came, he tried to call us using FB messenger, while we were trying to call through his mobile phone no. darn signals. We were almost the last to LEAVE. But at least were safe.

Looks like there was a mix-up on everything that happened from the passenger's health pass and name tags to the driver that was supposed to pick you up at the airport. I am glad that everything was sorted out in the end and you were all able to get home finally. It's just weird why the foreigner would steal a health pass since it would not match the ID and passport he carries with him.

@Letranknight2015 That is what I meant in my post why would they steal health passes since it will not match their ID anyway? They might think that healthpass they use will not be checked if they have it and could pass through customs without checking it. I think the driver didn't know that he was online and thought that he was calling on cp vs calling online. Sometimes I am guilty of that and am using Viber calls over regular calls.

@rsa101 He's probably used to it that he forgot how bad the signal is in the airport.

Nope the tags and health pass had nothing to do with the driver @rsa101 this happened inside the customs. What troubles me is that he could have called through the mobile phone no. and not the internet since we didn't have a good signal near the arrival area.

I hope they were able to get their health pass and name tags back. How sad when people steal.

Thank goodness you are doing well. I have heard the horror stories on social media of airport delays related to luggage being stolen or missing.

Hello @Deepizzaguy I forgot about that but I watch it in youtube which was INSANE, the baggage got to travel MORE than you. No, so far we didn't have trouble with the baggage.

I hope you got home fine. That's a sad experience especially since your guests are tired from traveling. I do hope the thief was apprehended for his/her crime.

Hello @Jenaisle Well, It was partly my fault I should have loaded my phone the day before the trip. I would have called him right away. But then he did his effort though.
