Today was one of those days. We had a summer learning day. Today we practiced our music, which went really well. Then we decided to make edible playdough. OH MY GOSH! It was terrible. I don't know who came up with that recipe and, even more, I can't believe anyone would eat that mess. It was excessively salty and the texture was way too sticky to be playdough. I did some research on how to add to the mixture to play down the salty taste and make the texture more like playdough. It ended up even worse. So we decided to get creative with cookie cutters and bake it. Maybe we could create rubber disks or something. We ended up throwing it all away. At least we had fun and a lot of laughs. It was a learning experience.. I think I am going to do some experimenting on my own and try to come up with a decent recipe for edible play dough .
