Very strong earthquake

I've never experienced a really strong earthquake, thank God. But it was just in the news a few days back. It hit the northern part of our country, a magnitude 7. 
I thought this was the strongest we had since I've only heard of magnitude 3 or 4 these past years. But turns out we have a magnitude 8 in 1990. 
have you every experienced it? I cannot even imagine.

I've experienced that also in 1990. I was a kid that time playing under a guava tree. I thought it's only the result my swinging because I'm dizzy that time.

Baguio was terribly hit in 1990. That was July (too) 1990.
