Which was your favourite time of education, school or college? My college days were wonderful with my loving teachers from whom I learned a lot and who were ever ready to help in not only in my studies but my extra curricular activities. I was good debater in college and therefore participated in inter college competitions. Two of my teachers always accompanied to the venue of competition and never left me alone. Apart from the competition we also had lot of fun. We exchanged our ideas about life. The photo is of one of my teachers who accompanied me. She was a political science lecturer in the Women's College where I got my high school education (I.Sc). Though I was a science student she was my best guardian in the field of debate as her encouragement send me heights. I was the best debater of my time.

It's a blessing to find a good teacher who guides and supports in your school/college days.

Yes, it is and I was blessed to have such teachers in the school whereas I didn't get any good teachers in college.

@sjvg1976 That's really sad. We had good teachers and some negligent ones too. We used to bunk their classes sometimes and do our own studies.

I was focused in my studies since my school days but that increased when I went to the college but got ample time for extra curricular activities. We had fun too even with our teachers.

Glad to know that you were good in debates and had good support from a teacher. My favorite teacher was Maths in 9th grade. I was an average student but because of her I got an interest in Maths and started doing well in the subject.

That's wonderful. Some of my teachers in school and in college were very cooperative and made lessons interesting. I loved my college life though. I often interact with her and other teachers on Facebook.

@aninditasen yes the interest increases in studies when you have cooperative teachers. How were you as a teacher? Were you strict?

@sjvg1976 I was both strict and loving too. I never tolerated indiscipline in class but always there to help my students. That's what I learned from my teachers.

I enjoyed the days in college better than high school. I could choose the subjects I was interested in and had more free time for extra curricular activities.

It's the same with me. Though I was a science student, I did get the time for extracurricular activities. If I missed my classes my teachers helped me in their free time.

A teacher could break or make you. They're one of the people who usually influence young people. I had a teacher too in high school who encouraged me to write short stories and I had some successes when I wrote stories years ago. Nowadays, I barely write because I no longer have a muse. and I thank my teacher before for discovering one of my talents.

I was also pushed into debate in college by my English teacher and the teacher whose photo is in my discussion. She accompanied me and I always stood first in the debate competition.

Reminiscing college instructors is somewhat good to be remembered specifically when the instructor did something to change your life.
