The mystery of this story begins is how did an alligator managed to enter the parking garage of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office in Largo Florida where deputies who were inside the parking garage who were shocked to see an alligator walking on the cement floor near the police cars on Sunday evening.
The alligator who is female did not make any movements to harm any of the deputies that saw her inside the parking garage.
The story has a good ending since one deputy with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office contacted a deputy who worked with another deputy to remove the alligator away from the parking garage to a body of water where the alligator will feel welcome in her home again.

Yes that is true since in Florida there is a law that forbids killing of alligators and bears by anyone unless it is self defense.

@JudyEv I think it is only in the state of Florida. I could be wrong though.

I have learned that that are many alligators who are seen in the streets in that state. I am surprised that Louisiana has a large alligator population as well but I have never seen a love alligator in the streets of Lake Charles. Just mascot alligators in some buildings at the entrance like medical buildings.

I have heard that alligators are around the streets of Florida a lot but this is the first time I have heard of one being seen at a police station parking lot.

Alligator is free to go where it wants too. Is it not dangerous?

Alligators are dangerous to allow them to be on the streets. I guess the politicians in Florida do not want the persons to kill alligators unless it is in self defense.

@Deepizzaguy That's to preserve them but they should be well kept for once they get lost people's lives are in danger.

I am sure that the police station where the alligator went to visit is near a body of water.
