When it comes to vacations and/or dating, are you starting to feel that everything is a rerun? Not that there's anything wrong with reruns but there comes a point in most people's lives when the desire for something at least a little new and different (As opposed to New & Crazy which encompasses things like Extreme Sitting and are the usual offerings in this area) becomes insistent. The people at Rail Explorers USA seem to understand that principle very well. They provide small pedal-powered rail cars that you can use to explore small segments of our vast rail system at your own pace. Currently, they offer experiences in Cooperstown, New York, Las Vegas, Rhode Island, the Catskills and Iowa, of all places. That's a great start, with plenty of room to grow. There are tracks everywhere in the world that offer interesting possibilities. And there are no safety issues. They coordinate with the rail services, so you don't have to worry about getting run over by a train. And it's not too expensive. Prices start at $90 for two for the romantic two-seater. If that sort of thing appeals to you, check out the website for even more info. Such as the 4-seat car they also have and how multiple cars can be coupled together for groups. I see it as a logical extension to the tracked rides that you can take down mountains and hills at various places (If you have never tried one of them, you should). With that in mind, let's go to right now and see what the Cosmic Universal Anthem Vacation/Date Idea Of The Month Club Vacation/Date Idea For Today is. ************** Rail Explorers Take a tour with Rail Explorers and experience the magic of the railroad like never before! Ride the rails on our pedal-powered 'Rail Explorers' - a unique activity suitable for everyone. Las Vegas division now open all year round!

I really like it, too. And I hope they expand it to everywhere.

I’ve not heard of pedal-powered rail experiences here in the UK but it sounds like fun if you’ve got the legs for it. Not something I think I’d try now at my age. I prefer steam trains and there are lots of these heritage type railways here and getting ever popular.

There are lots of train museums here, too and a few of them have routes set up so you can ride the old trains. I love them.

That sounds like a great idea! That would promote tourism and also a nice weekend outing for some folks.

Nothing like an exciting train ride through the countryside or anywhere, I used to love taking train rides. I have not been on a train in ages,

That is so cool, plus the added benefit of not being hit by a train makes it even better.

The no danger of getting run over is a major selling point for me.
