Time to get busy. It's August already. Hard to believe. The year feels like it's flying by. My husband and I are going to run some errands. However, while I'm waiting, I thought I'd put in a little work. I am determined to reach my goals.

To make payout, or close to payout by August 20, without killing myself to earn those pennies.It's slow-going today, but I also managed to be a little more active today.

Time surely flies. We are nearing the BER month and that month means Christmas season in my country. That's from September. Yes, we celebrate Christmas the longest.

Yes, but then we celebrate things you don't. Thanksgiving, a typically American Holiday, seems to get forgotten. Halloween and Christmas tend to take it over.

@kaylachan Pretty much aware of those American holidays. Even though we don't celebrate them, we have such thing as thanksgiving sale on the day Americans celebrate thanksgiving. We also have the halloween decorations even though it isn't part of our culture. And in fact we even have a 4th of July sale when our Independence Day isn't on the 4th of July but on June 12th. We have a colonial mentality and we follow what the Americans do. And I don't like that coz we are losing our own identity and culture.

Boy, have I got to work hard this month, Got an overdraft on my bank account, SS coming next week and will have a lot less for groceries once I settle my account so it will be work, work, work, this month,
