My Time At The NKOTB Concert - 7.23.22.

Hey there, everyone. I'm kind of on a break before I start my final batch of work for the night, so I figured I'd post about my time at the New Kids On The Block concert on 7.23.22. It may be a long post, just for warning. It was the first time I had floor seats, and it was amazing! The show started with my favorite song, "Block Party," so you know I was pumped up from the very beginning. I'm going to include a video of the opening song on my post, but it's not my video. I didn't get any videos of "Block Party" because I was just so in the moment. Jordan Knight, my favorite of the group, stood near my section for "Tonight." He was slapping hands on the way back to the stage, and I somehow got his sleeve lol. I'm such a dork haha. But it was really cool to be that close to the man who, let's face it, was my first crush (when I was 4yrs old, no exaggeration lol). Jonathan Knight walked passed too, and he was pretty close as he walked by, so that was cool. Danny Wood tried twice to get a selfie with me, but I was too slow (it was overwhelming) and he had to get back to the stage, so that failed. But, he did speak to me, so I guess it counts as meeting my first New Kid lol. Donnie Wahlberg and Joey McIntyre were on the other side of the venue. Joey's bus did drive passed us later after the show, and he waved bye to everyone, so that was also cool lol. I also enjoyed the other acts - Rick Astley, Salt n Pepa and En Vogue. And yes, Rick sang "Never Gonna Give You Up" - which was a blast to hear in person lol. Donnie did the rap on Salt n Pepa's song, "Shoop" - which a lot of fans had been wanting for a while, so they finally made it happen this tour. Of course, I was happy to see a few of my friends and get a few NKOTB goodies (but I'll discuss the NKOTB goodies later this week). It was so surreal, being that close to the guys, even spotting their known family/friends in the crowd. So weird to be that close after years of being in the stands, but it was so awesome. I was right under the confetti and streamers, and I couldn't really hear much afterward lol, but I'll never forget seeing my boys that close. :) I have big plans for their next tour, but that's another post for another day... hopefully, this week haha. I know I probably don't sound as excited, but believe me, I'm very excited to talk about the concert. It's just a lot to remember, and I'm just about ready to get back to work lol.
