I was actually referring to the first one, Nichelle Nichols. But even though there's a star trek in netflix I never quite intrigue to watch the show. I only got to know them in the movies.
It's crazy that her character name was supposed to be uhuru ( freedom ) but mr. roddenberry change from u to a, making it uhura.
Another surprising thing for me is that she was affliated with NASA, recuiting more astronauts.
She definitely contributed a lot to society and she will be missed.

I remember it being the first movie my first boyfriend and I watched. I never liked it.

was the movie Star trek the motin picture? I heard from Shatner himself said that the first movie was rushed to compete with the first star wars movie.

Hello @rebelann shatner is a great actor. It's crazy because I saw him first time in "Rescue 911" back in the 90s didn't know he was the first star trek captain back then.

At first the show was never air.
Until later on. The later on
The network work made
Other pilot Jeffery Hunter was not available.

When my father always made sure we could watch whenever a new Star Trek movie came out, I used to like the older episodes of the series. I tried to keep up with the TV show, but I was unable to do so and eventually lost interest. There are so many versions available right now that I'm unsure which to continue to follow.

Hello @rsa101 Yeah in netflix the original startrek is there. I was addicted to discover but somehow it was transferred to another streaming site instead.
