MOVIE NIGHT WITH FRIENDS (ONLINE)

Yesterday my friends and I decided to watch a movie online together. The thing is that all my close friends are located in other country and we really wanted to hangout and spend some time together. We had this idea to use an app called discord and one friend would play the movie and share his screen with us. We were 5 friends and we watched the movie together. We had a really good time and after the movie we all went to play few rooms (pubG) Do you have any close online friend? How do you like to spend quality time together?

I have a few online friends but my best friend is still back home in Maryland. We used to try to do watch parties even when we lived down the street from each other. It was fun trying to hit the play button at the same time. I do have a book group on Facebook and I'm thinking about doing a read a long on there. I haven't brought it up yet as I'm trying to figure out something else first.

You should try discord it’s awesome you get to talk with all your friends at the same time and also share screen. It’s meant for gamers but it helps with reuniting friends as well.

My daughter, Pretty, and her boyfriend have "dates" where they are both at their own homes and watch the same movies together. *shrug* As long as they enjoy it, I don't see anything wrong with it. I mostly talk with people on myLot or talk with my daughter when she's not busy with something. We're still doing the social distance thing with friends. I'm glad you were able to visit with your friends and watch a movie together.

Yes absolutely right. Plus with this virus happening I see it as a positive way too. Being safe at home and still being able to enjoy with friends and close one.

@BabeSays Pretty and I wear our masks when we leave our house. Most people don't here, though. (The government here wants to pretend Covid is gone. So do most of the people in the US. It's stupid!) Deaths from Covid are still happening here, too.

Oh this is a lovely idea thanks. Yeah most of my friends live far away as well so we just have long video chats once a week to catch up but I will suggest this as well.
