My first scam text

I have had my cell phone for almost 2 months now. I have gotten my first scam text on my cell phone today. The reason I believe it is a scam text is because I have not given this website my cell phone number. I do use this website several times a year, but I did not give them my cell phone number.

Oh. It might be. However, it might be, you've accidentally surf that website in your phone. And their website as capability to detect the number on the phone.

I only use my Chromebook to get on this website. I only use my cell phone to make and receive phone calls. I very rarely use the text option on the cell phone.

Does the website know your name or physical address? If they have any information about you, it's pretty simple to get a phone number.

It isn't hard for them to find information on you if you have given them some, even with your name. It isn't that common.

There are scammers everywhere and scam text is pretty common here than a scam call.

Those websites get phone number on the Internet, many of them have mine, also. They find a way, believe me!
