Just got an interesting credit card offer

This is an airline credit card with no annual fee... Most of the airline cards have a hefty annual fee attached, so this is quite good. I haven't thoroughly read the paperwork but it looks like you might get 10,000 bonus miles upon sign up. I find this quite cool indeed. I haven't actually flown for years, but I enjoy it. I think this might be a good card to have in case I have to go up to my home area quickly. My parents are older of course, and it takes a day to go up there with normal car travel. I am certainly going to consider this. Have you had an interesting credit card offers lately?

Yes I had two in my mailbox today. One was from Marcus and the other from GM.

Some are good, and some not so much.

@RubyHawk If you feel comfortable without one, that is best.

Credit card? I do had that before and I was dump from liabilities. Now, I'm not aiming for credit cards anymore because I already knew the consequences.

They aren't anything to play with, but if you are smart, they can be good.

@snowy22315 Maybe I'm not that smart before in handling credit card benefits.

@luisga814 You just have to be very judicious on what you use your cards for, and try to never run a balance.

One has to be very careful with them. Friend used to have a couple of airlines cards and paid them off every month. 3 of us were able to go to Alaska and back with airline miles.

NOpe. But that's interesting indeed. It's really nice to have a card that doesn't require an annual fee. I hardly use my credit card. I prefer to pay using my debit card.

Roomie is like that. He said he credit score is 540. Good luck with that, he could only maybe get a secured card with a 500 dollar credit line and a down payment of 75 dollars or something... I told him to regularly pay something on installments, although I think he does that, still doesn't seem to help.
