Even though former National Football League football player Jim Kearney is before my time since I did not know what a Super Bowl was until 1972, I am sure that Jim Kearney who was a team member of the Kansas City Chiefs football team that won Super Bowl IV in 1970 was very happy that despite the fact that he lost his Super Bowl ring recently while playing golf at a driving range in Kansas City Missouri. Thanks to a stranger named Dylan Garcia who saw the missing ring at the. Parking lot of the Shoal Creek Golf Course, Dylan saw that the ring that read 'Super Bowl.' inside the ring. Dylan decided to find the owner of the ring until he was able to give back the ring to the former football player who played in the National Football League from 1965-1976. I guess that Dylan must have used social media to find out how to meet Jim and return his Super Bowl ring which is priceless to all players who played in the National Football League since winning a Super Bowl is the highest prize in their profession.

Jim was very happy that he received his Super Bowl ring back since football players work from the summer in training camp through the winter.

@RubyHawk I saw the television show that featured football stars versus ordinary people on a football field. The football players do earn their pay with that hard work on the field.

That's pretty cool what amazed me about NFL IS OJ Simpson still gets paid 25,000 a month on pension plan. Rumored but that has to come from somewhere and I am not trying to be negative buddy, just want fairness. I wonder if Derrick Thomas's family get that much a month. One honorable and the other not. NFL is always in trouble and its easy when you are fair across board, if you not,NFL will always be seen as corrupt and have a lot of legal fees when that money could be going to honorable NFL players and families.

The funny thing is that many people know who O J Simpson is due to his connections to the entertainment business compared to most former football players. I guess the NFL likes to be the lightning rod of controversy.

@Deepizzaguy Yeah, and not sure I have always thought NFL's owners for the most part not all are as corrupt as they come. I actually think NBA does its system the best I mean even that racist Clippers owner they took action right away where NFL would say we investigating and then do nothing unless peer pressure.

@crossbones27 Many of the NFL owners are patriotic and care for their former employees when they need help after they leave the game.

It was a good deal that Dylan did make the right call returning the Super Bowl ring back to Jim.

It's always nice when someone goes to the trouble of finding the owner of a ring.

It's trivia. Not a big deal but for the lost ring owner it is.

That is true since in the era where Jim Kearney played which was in the 1960s, the salary of players in the National Football League was not enough for the players to buy expensive automobiles and houses.
