When the orchids are brought at small stage it is not easy to understand the carnivorous inclination.

In Kalimpong in the pine view nursery while the orchids are there are exhibition but they are also for sale. When they are small it is very difficult to understand the sexual orientation. Some orchids did not like lizards rats at small stage but the moment they became big they found the flesh of the rabbits, snakes, very tasty.There are many instants where they injured the owners.

thanks ruby you have only planted harmless orchids. there are thousands of flesh eating orchids in different parts of the world nepenthesis )pitcher plant, venus fly trap they are many

Orchids are certain types of plants which dont require that much of water. in the photo you are finding few cacti. But the list there are many other orchids which are different . yes they are all flesh eating

@Sojourn thanks Jojo I had the trip in 2009. My father passed away in 2011. Since then wherever I go I take my mother. She lives with my wife and two sons

Holy crap! I'm glad none of my orchids ever ate flesh. Remind me to never visit Pine View Nursery in Kalimpong.
