Cafe Church at Church today.

I went to Church again today and today it was Cafe Church. I wore my blue dress with the paisley pattern on it. It was very warm again so I wore no cardigan or coat. I walked to Church as usual and had a green tea from my own T-bag in a proper mug! They had doughnuts today but I didn't have one. Too much sugar. Because it was Cafe Church today and there weren't as many people at Church because a lot of them were away on holiday and stuff, the chairs were arranged differently in little semi circles. My Mum came just before the service started. I waved at her and she came over to the seat I'd saved for her. Then I said, you can go and get a drink if you like. But she was too slow and by the time she was about to get up they were putting everything away including the doughnuts! So my Mum didn't end up getting a drink or a doughnut! We had some songs as usual and then a few people got up to say a little bit. Then a lady came up and talked about rest and how important it is, noting that even God had to rest after he'd created everything. And when he rested on the seventh day, he blessed the Sabbath day. He didn't bless any of the other days. He said his creation was very good but he only blessed the Sabbath, the day of rest. She also noted other Bible verses where it says that God said he would give people/us rest. After that we had a time of prayer and then that was the end of the service. The musicians did play one final song but we were free to go while it was being played. I went to the loo in the Church before walking home. They have a really fancy Sci-Fi flusher! You don't even have to touch it, you just wave your hand in front of it and it goes off! It's got like a sensor thing in it that detects movement in front of it! Then I walked home and when I got home I had my lunch. Ja Ja Tofu. Very yummy. I put on an Andre Rieu CD first and listened to it while I was cooking my lunch! After lunch I went in my bedroom to fill in a survey from the Doctors to give them my blood pressure readings. I did 2 readings in the morning and evening yesterday and 2 readings this morning but they only needed the one. They said in the survey to do 3 readings and then send them the best one. Well seeing as I'd already done 6 readings I took the best one, which was 122 over 79 and submitted that. (The optimal blood pressure is 120 over 80 so mine's really not bad.) We probably won't be going (to Church) next week because it's in Beacon Park and I don't think Mum's too keen on that. How was your day?
