Potential position

Australia

So I got an email from one of the demonstrators in the lab about a role that has been identified for a 3rd-year student. Basically, I would need to help second-year students complete laboratory work. I remember the experiment too, transforming yeast. Unless they changed the experiment. I emailed the demonstrator and they said they will forward my details to the faculty. Hooray! Later I found out that the role is compensated which I didn't expect it to be. I thought it would just be a voluntary role to help out a student but that's pretty cool that we will be reimbursed for our time. Hopefully I get it but I wont be holding my breath or anything.

@Fa_Maverick I always hated interviews. I never knew what they actually wanted me to say.

@DaddyEvil yeah I remember reading about interviews after doing one at the hospital and the article said "don't try and convince me of how smart you are" and under the heading it said "If I give you a problem regarding workflow in our company don't try and solve it just say "I don't know how to do this" The hospital gave me a sheet and asked me to prioritise admissions and ambulance ramping... Was I not supposed to try? what if my prioritisation was more efficient than what they have already?
