15th august was independence day for Indians. On 15th august 1947, the country became independent. Before that India was a colony of Great Britain. 75 years have passed and for that the Government had been sovereign to frame the law , policies of the country.

It would have been a wonderful day when India gained its independence. Such a long time ago now.

Yes and India became the first country on that day who got independence and was divided into two countries
