This Doctor Was a Sniper

Remember Dr. Ruth Westheimer? She was known as Dr. Ruth and is a media personality, author, professor, Holocaust survivor, and sex therapist. Back in 1948, she was seriously wounded in action during the Israeli War of Independence. She had joined the Haganah as a scout and sniper and got a leg injured by an exploding shell. Due to her smaller stature(she is only 4 feet and 7 inches) she had been able to join the Haganah and was trained as a sniper. She is still active to this day and is writing, lecturing, and teaching. Born in 1928 she is 94.
