Some folks like to get away. Take a holiday from the neighborhood. Hop a flight to Miami Beach. Or to Hollywood. But I'm taking a Greyhound. On the Hudson River Line. At this juncture, all of you, and many others, are asking, "Your Highness, Sir, why did you take a Greyhound all the way from Georgia to New York?" The obvious surface level "Duh!" answer is, "It's been many days since I was here and these vagabond shoes were longing to stray. Additionally, I could wear my boots cause they were made for walking but their warranty only covers walks as far as Pittsburgh. So what choice did I have?" The deeper, more beneath the surface and less obvious answer is, "My friend Allen is pleading Guilty to 15 Tax Evasion Felonies in Manhattan and I don't want to miss a minute of it." I assume you'll be pleading Guilty, too. Oh, you thought I didn't notice your disrespectful, derisive tone when you asked your question? Well, good call. I was far too busy being hyper-vigilant and ultra-observant to notice minor details like that. But, unfortunately for you, the mole who ratted you out did notice. So, make this easy on everyone. Plead Guilty, throw yourself on the mercy of the court and you'll probably get time served and a notation on your Permanent Record. With that in mind, let's go to 1976 and see what the Cosmic Universal Anthem Song Of The Month Club Song For Today is. ************** Longtime Trump CFO Allen Weisselberg pleads guilty to tax fraud charges By Kevin Sheehan and Mark Moore August 18, 2022 10:31am Updated https://nypost.com/2022/08/18/trump-cfo-allen-weisselberg-pleads-guilty-to-tax-fraud-charges/ ---------------------------- #BillyJoel #LiveMusic #NewYorkStateOfMind Billy Joel - New York State Of Mind (from Old Grey Whistle Test) 2,687,280 views Mar 23, 2019

I used to take a Greyhound bus from Georgia to Tennessee. My boots were made for walking too but I didn’t want to walk all the way to Tennessee. My blue suede shoes might have been more comfortable cut I was afraid somebody would step on them so I decided to ride the Greyhound.

You were right to be cautious. You can't let anyone step on your Blue Suede Shoes.

@xander6464 Absolutely not. They used to belong to Elvis Presley and he might want them back.

My hometown NYC has disappointed me a lot what with all the crime and subway pushers I dread to think what all that would have done for my anxiety if my friends had not asked me to come to Florida,

Are you glad that justice may (eventually) be served?

I have never tried a Greyhound bus, are they comfortable? We can only hope that those people get what they deserve... free hotel for the rest of their life.

The obvious is becoming obvious. Even to the proles. I hope everyone gets what they deserve.
