Food Porn: "Bicol Express" / myLot

According to some historians, Indonesian traders who arrived in Bicol in the Philippines around 2000 years ago may have had an influence on the Bicol Express. It is true that several Indonesian recipes are fairly similar to this. The spice will be detectable when you taste it. I decided to make this spicy lunch meal today since I had the time. Take note, it is not too spicy because I am not fond of it. My youngest brother and niece's first day of school is what caused me to get up early. Are you fond of eating spicy food?

Oh you got to prepare our native dish. I am surprised that its origin is Indonesian I do not actually know its origin. But we Bicolanos are fond of spicy food. But I am an exception since I also am not fond of eating spicy foods.

@Shavkat Why did you add too much pepper on it? I think you can cook it without the spices and will just taste as good with just the coconut juice with it but of course, the spiciness can sometimes add flavor to it.

@Shavkat A lot of my family members have high blood pressure and diabetes. So I have to be careful. I don't eat too salty food, and have sweet food occasionally.
