New Clothes 2022

It seems that my family has seriously taken a pity on me because of my constant sewing of my old clothes. Well, I didn't want to throw them away so If I see they can be salvage I''ll fix it.
So, few days ago my aunts gave me three shorts. then today Mom and my brother separately gave me each a tshirt. I'm surprised because I thought he was still in Vietnam, but he's home safe, good.
Then this afternoon, my brother gave me 10$ for my daily expenses, which was shocking yet again.
I"m happy with the blessings that I got today, but they were more blessings from before. What's nice is that they all came from my family.

I see you are a frugal person just like me. When clothes are worn out and not suitable for going out I would cut the sleeves and sew the new hem so I can wear as clothes at home during summer. I resolve not to buy new clothes for several years into the future LOL.

Hello @yoalldudes That's what I did but I haven't sew them all, just a few only. The new clothes they hope to convince not to sew clothes anymore.

@Letranknight2015 That reminds me of the beginning scene of Kimetsu ni Yaiba where he wants to buy her sister a new kimono because she is sewing old one. Such thoughtful acts of family members.
So are you still going to sew? LOL.

@Letranknight2015 I guess decade long would have that effect now they are nearing its end already. I think you have utilized it well if that lasted that long.

I do usually give away old clothes before they are totally worn out cause I don't like seeing them most of the time .

That's sweet of them. I have a pair of pants that I was going to get my great-aunt to fix, but my mother said they are too far gone to fix so I plan on getting some new ones.
