A book/movie on my vacation...

I think I mentioned in some comment that I took a badly need vacation at the end of July. My friends probably know why I needed that vacation. So, I went to Tennessee and stayed with my sister and her wife. Now, I'm not saying I don't watch TV or movies, but I spend my time mostly on YouTube watching videos, mostly of educational, but some others. I also read books. In fact, when my sister and her wife were watching movies during the day, I was mostly out on their screened porch with my drink reading a book. In fact, I finished 3 books while I was there and mostly finished a 4th, that I have since finished. I do read at home, and I read a book by the title of "Dreamer." I read this last year and enjoyed it. So, one night my sister's wife insisted I pick a movie. Now, we had watched a couple of cute rom/coms, and I enjoy those to a point, but we were going through, I don't know, Netflix or Amazon Prime movies... not Hulu, they didn't have Hulu. So, while scrolling through the movies I saw the title "Dreamer." I had her pull that one up and then I had her pick that one. The movie was based on the book that was a novelized version that was based on an actual event. This horsey gal enjoyed it, and my sister and her wife also enjoyed it. I don't know that they would've picked it themselves, but everyone was happy with it. I have the book set aside for my wife's niece, since she's gotten into horses and unicorns. Have you read this book or seen the movie? Did you enjoy it too?
