Trust and Oby

No matter which role in life we take into consideration, these truths apply: 1. God does not need our help. He is God. He has His plans. He always keeps His Word. He is going to be faithful to His character. Quit trying to be His little helper. Quit trying to manipulate the situation so you can stay in the know. Quit usurping God's authority in an effort to make sure things work out right. 2. Our only job is to trust and obey. Obedience is simple. My mom used to tell me, "just shut your mouth and do as you are told". I had a problem with a sassy mouth; I know that is hard to believe. Anyway, it is nice when parents and other leaders give us an explanation. Blind obedience, to humans, is not always a good thing. However, blind obedience to God is the best thing. It is a commanded thing. God knows when we need revelation. We are to be obedient to HIm-period. Then we trust that He will come through. We trust that He will give victory. We trust that He will provide. We trust that He will avenge. We trust that He will heal and restore and give joy and deliver and...... I can testify that every time I tried to be God's little helper or take the lead in my life, I messed things up big time. But every time that I chose to simply trust and obey, God was everything I needed Him to be and He was glorified.

Trust even if we don't understand His plans. Jeremiah 29:11 says it! Trust and obey His word. When obeying we have to fully obey, partial obedience is still not obeying.

You are right. Partial obedience is not obedience. God tells us He desires obedience over sacrifice.

I trust God to do what is right by me. The few times I have asked for something and needed it. God came through for me.
