Best Utopian Novels/Movies?

I turn on Sports, to get away from all the negativity -- it's all political (Griner arrested in Russia, etc etc).. I have the books, "1984" and "Brave New World", which I tried reading yesterday, but I think, "I know things are messed up, I don't need to be reminded" so I thought I'd ask you all. I would prefer a movie (from any country) from the 1930-70s, unless it's something you think I'd love. I imagine there's a lot of silly utopian movies, but hopefully there's a few that simply make you feel better, because it's effective and maybe believable, even for those 2 hours. Thank you.

I've only read/watched the Hunger Games and Divergent series of books/movies. I like them both but would recommend Hunger Games first.

Try “Who’s singing over there?” . It’s a Yugoslavian movie from 1980 a comedy drama and you might like it. It’s satirical and always puts me in a good mood.

Oh, wow. I don't think I've seen a movie from Yugoslavia (despite seeing over 1,000 from Europe), and 1980 was a good year. I will check it out, thanks! One question. Because it's satirical, is there anything I should research to understand the movie? Speaking of satire, 1980 had the amazing, "La terrazza"? It's about the old world and the new world, Marcello Mastroianni, and it's just so excellent. Social/political.
