Azaan Prayers conducted here with loud noise. Doesn't every religion promote peace??!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing fine too. I like to mention that where I stay there have come lot of Muslims apart from us parsis. There are Azaan prayers conducted here in mosques at different times. I don't have a problem with them conducting it. It's the loud noise from their speakers which irritates me. I am on terrace in evening. Every evening after sunset, there is an opposite building to ours who have fitted speaker on their terrace which is illegal and then they pray in loud speakers. Then again at night around 8:25 pm, again we hear the prayers coming from mosque. I feel and believe that every religion promotes peace and gives peace to individuals. It's just we humans or some humans who in name of religion does so much of noise pollution. Prayers should be conducted with permissable noise limits. I had gone in the building once and told them to lower the sound but to no avail. There is noone here who wants to speak up against them. There is our Parsi hospital in the area and mosque is opposite to it still they don't lower the noise. I go out to other area during this time as can't bare this loud noise everyday as it's happening since long time. I hope some strict action is taken against them by police someday. It has become everyday nuisance. Hope you guys have a good day!! Take care!!

I wonder why there’s such a loud announcement. I’ve seen videos of the announcement, and it is loud. No other religion (that I know of) makes a pompous proclamation, which Jesus spoke against (“when you pray, don’t be like them who love to pray in the streets to be seen by man”). I wonder if it’s a boast (“we’re praying more than you are, so we’re more righteous”) or what. I’m sure all Muslims know when prayer times are and don’t need the loud reminder.

That's exactly the thing that they know well then why they keep on loud speakers. I wonder don't they find it too loud or not

I remember when we stayed in Luxor in Egypt that the prayers came over loud speakers.

Oh ok dear. Then you know what I am talking about. If it's an everyday thing then it becomes a nuisance
