Street Photography: Human Interest

Sometimes, we're just so darn wrong about people. Wrong about reality. Ouch!
I didn't know what the woman was thinking. I couldn't figure out what the man was going through. Unless, I approached them and asked them in a respectful heart-to-heart conversation.
Other than that, I have no sane reason to dismiss them as "conspiracies". Or throw at them a hodgepodge of other narrative condescending labels we could come up with.
All I saw was that they were at the Freedom Friendly March last Saturday. They had placards. They smiled when we pointed the camera at them.
A lot of them are families with children. I could sense some 'sense of urgency about safeguarding and protecting our children.'
I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. They're all assumptions in my head. Unless, I politely ask.
Did you like the photo?

@MrDenata He is brilliant. But he's too humble to admit that about himself

@jstory07 Thank you. I thought so,too. Hubby does have eyes for detail and the story-behind-the-picture.

@everwonderwhy Hard to know why the woman was showing that sign. There is something written on her T-shirt and there is another person wearing a sign behind. May be reading the other writings would help to know.

Thanks. I think so, too. I guess, from that point of view of the woman, I can make something in my head about what she was concerned about; and I can learn from it to benefit me and my family.

Our personal biases often color our perception of people. The world has too many labels already on politics, race, and religion.
But visualizing the photo without the people I think it could make a nice black & white street photo taken at dusk with those tree branches behind as the subject. I like trees. They're so much less complicated than humans.

@everwonderwhy The little girl must be wondering why there is a tree blocking the path. I think your husband has a sense of humor.

Yes, thanks. Street photography is human life and human interest my husband has been photo-journaling.
Ah, yeah, he's got equally thousands of photos of those uncomplicated scenarios, too.
