Connecticut State Trooper whose last name is Stella answered many calls from concerned drivers who were driving on Interstate 84 in Cheshire on Friday. Normally when a law enforcement officer finds a lost dog or cat, they usually adopt the lost animal since they want to gain a new friend to be with for the life taking care of their new pet. In this case Officer Stella is taking care of the lost dog who was found on the interstate is hoping that someone who saw this story on the internet or local news story will come forward and reunite with the lost dog soon. I am sure that the former owner of the dog wanted to get rid of the dog since the dog does not have an identification tag on him or her.

Police officers are good people since they are good in helping others despite what the media says about the few rotten apples.

It breaks my heart to see a dog wandering on a highway myself.

That's sad. I hope the owner is charged for animal cruelty and banned from adopting/owning any other pets, and Officer Stella takes the dog to the local animal shelter in CT.

@Deepizzaguy I hope so too. Animal cruelty is so wrong in so many levels.

I hope so as well since it is possible that the police officer will try to adopt the dog as well.

I am sure that due to the publicity in the news market in Connecticut, the dog will find a new home or reunite with the owner soon.

As I said earlier in your post about a rescued dog which is also adopted by its saver. Animal adoption is common among the people in your place.
