Mama cat has been sick for a few weeks. And we can't put our finger on it. She's not critical, because we've gotten her eating. And, she drinks. Doesn't want to groom herself. But walking fine with her tail in the air. We've decided to see what we can get in terms of appointment for her. Get her seen. George and I think she might have an Orel issue because she's not wanting to open her mouth to wide, or eat dry food. We know she's hungry, because she begs for the wet. George is going to call in the morning to see about getting her seen. I'll keep everyone posted on what happens.

I hope that the mom cat will have a clean bill of health after the visit with the veterinarian.

@jstory07 That isn't the case for all cats. I know, she's not my first Senior. A million and one possibilities run through my mind. Having had a few generations of cats. I want to find out if this is fixable, because dry food is better for her.

@kaylachan When cats get older they can not chew the hard food anymore. You have to just give them soft food.

@LadyDuck Yeah. She does. We're doing carrier training right now. She's being well-behaved.
