I emailed the director of the Coast Guard Daycare to see if my hours had been worked out, and she wrote me back pretty fast. She said that yes, they'd worked out my hours, and if I'd like, they could cut my lunch to half an hour instead of an hour, as the center is only open until 4:30. That's fine, I have difficulty finding things to do with an hour's lunch, anyway. Guess I could eat my lunch and read, but I can read almost anytime. She also said that "HR" would be contacting me at some point today. So, I'll be keeping an ear on my phone. Oh, boy. Things are moving along...
