Falsely accused day

Today is #falselyaccusedday
If you or a family member were falsely accused of a crime, light a candle today at 5 pm Pacific time and observe a moment of silence in solidarity with other people who have been through the wringer and/or are still suffering because of a what a false accusation and our legal system has put you through. Arrests, court dates, legal fees, lost sleep, fear, anxiety, harassment, public humiliation, maybe even incarceration. We were "lucky" but for some people it has never ended.
If you have ever suffered a false accusation, especially in the legal system, and are willing to share your story here, I would love to hear it!

My husband earlier this year was falsely accused of stalking our awful next door neighbors. They thought he was coming into their yard when he was doing yard work, when actually they didn't know the correct property line. Luckily our County Court threw it out.
And another good thing. Those trashy neighbors ended up in Foreclosure

Oh Anne, that is awful..glad they got chucked out the sneaky rotten sods.
We got neighbors like that here too..that is part of reason why I am moving out.

I do not have one of those stories Dawn, but I am so fortunate I know.
It only takes a person that is bent on vengeance to wreck a person's life.
I feel for the people who have had this happen to them.

@dawnald Oh yes, it is mind boggling..and the system plays right into it, with no remorse for what happens or what they do. I am so sorry this happened to you too.
