A two toned rose bud

All what this plant wanted was a respite from rain. I have lost several rose plants that got succumbed to heavy rain but this one has survived and has given out buds. It has two tones red and yellow. When I had just bought the plant the rose was big and the shades were visible . But this rose bud is small and I am hoping with time and after giving it a good feed it will show results. Clicking this photo made my day.

You must watch out for the mother plant that tries to kill the budded one Anything that grows below the budded portion you have to remove it

This rose is so pretty, we had a serious drought this year, I used the water from my rain barrels to keep them alive.
