An Amazing View

While I was thinking about something to share here,
I happen to see this picture on facebook.
(The picture is not mine)
I love taking pictures of sunrise and sunsets and also different cloud formations, but i haven't seen anything like this in my life.
I have watched several numbers of rainbows, single or even double rainbows but not something like this.
It is so stunning and so wonderful.
God's creations are truly amazing.
Have you seen something like this on your side of the universe?

I've seen beautiful skies at sunset and a green atmosphere before a tornado here but never anything like this... I checked online for it and traced it back to a viral video from China. (I actually thought it was a digitally enhanced picture but am happy to see it hasn't been enhanced at all.)

Yeah, this picture was taken in China.
And according to science, it is called Iridescent Clouds.
It is a phenomenon that occurs when small water droplets or small ice crystals scatter the sun's light.
There was one time here in the Philippines, that iridescent clouds also appeared but not as big as that in the picture.

@magallon Yes, that's the right name for the phenomenon but it can also occur when a lot of dust or smoke is in the atmosphere.

It's beautiful! Yes, I've seen somewhat like it on local news, this year it happened at Maui. Here is article on it with scientific explanation of it.

It is said that it was not edited or photoshoped.
The picture was taken as it is seen.
It is called Iridescent Clouds and it rarely happens.
In some parts of the Philippines, this phenomenon happened too but they are small and scattered in the sky.
