Dubbed the eighth wonder of the world (by Donald Trump) the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City opened with great fanfare in 1990. It filed for bankruptcy the following year. It had reportedly cost $1.2 billion and was rolling in debt. He lost ownership to bondholders. Carpenters, electricians, plumbers, window installers, and other contractors all had lost money. Trump owed a cool $70 million to 253 contractors who had worked on the Taj Mahal. In 1991, when the Taj went into bankruptcy Trump offered to pay 33 cents on the dollar to these contractors which had had to reach into their own pockets to pay the men they had contracted to work. An Ohio company that had made the beautiful domes was short-changed by $2 million. The firm that brought the Carrara marble from Italy went bankrupt. The Atlantic City firm that had supplied paving stone lost $1.2 million. But this isn't the first time Trump has stiffed contractors. There is a cabinet maker from New Jersey who is still owed $83,600 from work back in 1984. There are over 3,500 lawsuits against Trump over 30 years. Are republicans going to vote this type of man into office AGAIN?

That's you and me both. And there are people, even on here, that argue about how good they think he is. That is so frustrating. Poor people.

71 million voted for him in the last election. Given the political polarization in the US, they probably will again.

My thoughts exactly. I have tried not to say anything about the man. I really have. But lately, I just can't be quiet. I have to speak my mind and let be known how I feel in the hope that some will hear it and not vote for this man again.

@celticeagle With the many investigations probing Trump's illegal activities while president and after leaving the office, hopefully, many supporters will come to realize Trump's true character.

Very sad. And that isn't even all of it. My next post about him is about his racial indiscretions.
