Grohe tub spout with diverter issues

I had purchased a Grohe tub spout with diverter from a store that sells bathroom stuff. When it arrived and the plumber installed it the diverter didn't seem to be working. When you pressed the diverter down it would go back up and so the water would come out of both the spout and the shower. I contacted the store about it, even texted the owner a video of it not working. No bring it back for a refund or exchange. No we will take care of it. Call to Grohe is what I was told. That is bad customer service but I did as he said. At first I contacted Grohe via chat. I told the guy the tub spout with diverter is defective. The guy wanted to sent me a replacement diverter, which I didn't want. I wanted the entire tub spout with diverter, especially since the diverter part wouldn't even unscrew. Then I actually called Grohe and told her my issue and she ended up sending me a replacement tub spout with diverter. It arrived in one of those bubble envelopes. Inside it was the Grohe box. It was ripped. I took out the tub spout from it and saw that it was damaged. I didn't do anything at first but today I decided to contact Grohe again. I told the lady on the chat about the replacement being damaged and was told that I will be sent another one. A replacement for a replacement. I hope this time it will arrive with the box all intact and the spout without any damage and working as it should. And that it won't take too long to get here. Now I will have three tub spouts with diverter. What am I gonna do with the other two?

@kaylachan I still have to get the new one delivered and make sure that one isn't damaged and works.

Oh no Lena..I am so sorry these issues keep happening..your luck sounds like mine..though the tide may turn soon I hope. Gee, I guess you could make something out of them, flower planters or something I don't know? Kitchen item? Everything has a use that is for sure. Wow, this is truly unbelievable. And then the plumber guy..is he still using all your paper towels?

I hope so as well. It better come undamaged and it better work. I am surprised I wasn't asked to email them pictures of the damage or to send this damaged one back.
