Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow. --------------- Mark Twain Lying in bed with the radio on. Moonlight falls like rain. Soft summer nights spent thinking of you. Before I go on, my lawyers insist that I stop and comply with our stringent Internet Honesty Laws by explaining that I'm not really in bed, lying or otherwise. I haven't had a radio in years. There is no moonlight because it is morning now, which also means it is not nighttime. It is not raining---Moonlight or anything else. It's no longer Summer. It's late September and I really should be back at school but my legal team graciously says I can cover that topic some other time. The rest of the opening paragraph (Thinking Of You) is 100% true, though, and that's what counts the most. What counts even more than that is what the Woke Liberal Mob, Well-Meaning But Encumbering Lawyers and Deep State Freedom-Hating Politicians can never take away from us. That is: When you disregard the Counsel forced disclaimers...Which you are still free to do until my friend Sleepy Joe signs an Executive Order that yanks that one remaining bit of freedom away from you...What you are left with is a perfect Mostly Imaginary Opening Act for today's topic: New Year's Resolutions. My brand new fresh New Year's Resolutions for 2023, to be specific. I know most folks like to wait till the last minute to make them. Some even go beyond that by waiting until New Year's Eve but not me. I like to get them done now. The other thing that sets mine apart from most folks' is that mine are fictional. Just like most of the opening paragraph. I wish they weren't but as you well know, I have no choice. I've been cursed with perfection. I have no bad habits to stop and I already have all the good habits there are. So, to be like everyone else, all you people who were blessed with flaws and imperfections, I have to pretend that I have them, too. That's why I Fantasy Role-Play New Year's Resolutions and I'm starting this year's batch today. How are you spending this Hard Monday? #Nights are forever without you PS Yet again, no Song jumped out at me, which is really rude and improper because Halloween isn't over yet, so there is no Cosmic Universal Anthem Song Of The Month Club Song For Today.

I have always enjoyed reading Mark Twain, a wise man. And as he said 'If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it.' This weekend I am not wasting my time to go vote in Italy.

@xander6464 I often wonder how much manipulated a vote is. I noticed when the European countries voted to be in the EU and I remember France 51% in favor and when you listened to people in the streets they were ALL against. Italians were not even asked to vote, the government decided and also Italians were ALL against.

It really does feel like voting will never make any kind of difference but the US is proving right now that it can make a difference.

@LadyDuck Here, voting is heavily manipulated by the media. That's how Trump won. I'm not sure about other countries.

I have to call the ever-red-tape-wrapping local government to get a refund on a bill that I paid that the VA also paid. Of course, they cannot simply send me a check, they insist on crediting it back to the credit card I used to pay the bill nine months ago. Sheesh. Think I’ll take a walk first. PS: I’m glad no song jumped out at you.

In hindsight, that song seems like it would be at least 75% appropriate for this one. #MeetingsRock A nice relaxing walk sounds like a good idea. Maybe someday, the government will get its' act together and you won't have to tell them what they already know. Now that that fairy tale is out of the way, would you like to hear the one about the three bears? It's one of my favorites.
