My boyfriend took Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) in college in the Philippines and he is now working in a coffee shop in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We live in the same city but our places are a bit far from each other. He promised to cook a Filipino dish for me this Wednesday or Thursday. It will be my first time to taste his. I am looking forward to it. He said that he is cooking a beef caldereta for me. This dish actually has Spanish influence. He asked me to prepare all the ingredients by then. I was quite surprised about the ingredients: carrot sweet potato capsicum string beans Maggi Magic Sarap all-in-one seasoning salt water Not quite the usual beef caldereta ingredients I usually have for my own recipe of it. Are you quite familiar with this dish? By the way, Maggi Magic Sarap has Iodized salt, flavor enhancers (monosodium glutamate, disodium-inosinate, disodium guanylate), sugar, chicken fat, brown sugar, natural dried vegetables (garlic, onion), natural spices (white pepper, turmeric), nature identical chicken flavors, chicken meat powder, and egg yolk powder in it.
