What are these fruits?

In our backyard garden we have two trees bearing this fruit. The fruits are so heavy that branches are stooping down. So I decided to pluck some of them and distribute them to the families in the children's home campus. This fruit has many local names. In the state language of Bengal it is called " batabi lebu". Lebu is literally lemon of any kind. From a visiting British friend I came to know that it is called grape fruit. Strangely grape is totally a different fruit. If you know it by any other name do share it in the comment box. It's definitely a citrus fruit but its pulp changes into reddish hue and it acquires its special sweetness. When it gets heavy we know it's full with juice and ready to be eaten.

It enhances immunity and in this pandemic I think all of us should eat it. These are available now and until the winter.

We still have some on our tree. I'm going to pluck them two at a time and eat them.

I love this fruit, the pink pulp is so delicious. It's grapefruit. We call it as Gagil in Bhojpuri.

Grapefruit here tend to be yellow but the flesh is reddish. The few I've had aren't sweet at all but tart like a lemon.

It looks like our grapefruit but ours is yellow. I don’t know why it’s called grapefruit. It doesn’t taste like grapes.
