Her name is Jhermaone. She is in Grade 2. She is slow in reading. I'm glad I have a girl student. She is just average. I like to teach her because she is easy to learn although she struggles at first but if you keep repeating she eventually learn fast. I've been seeing her for two weeks now.
What I plan is to teach her first to read straight and fast in Filipino language. If she is a good reader in Filipino. I will start to teach her to be good in reading English and good in comprehension.
I also do her assignments and teach her other subjects. I hope I can make her grades high.

It really does not depend on me no matter how good I am if the child is really slow no improvement. I'm happy with this kid because she seems intelligent but she need to be guided as sometimes she forgets

@averygirl72 You need to find ways for her to feel interested and develop good habits to remember things and understand things. It would be a challenge but you should find those in her. Being a tutor means that you need to individually know your student's weaknesses and strengths and work on those to harness their true potential.

@rsa101 I think she is average. I don't think she is very slow or very fast. She is just in the middle. She gets most of the time but still makes mistakes
