Copy cat

This morning i met a copy cat.
Every morning, i would pray the rosary while waiting for the public bus to come. When i was in the bus, seated to a middle age man, i continued to pray the rosary using a rosary app to guide me as i have brain fog after covid.
He saw the app. Immediately, he took out his hat, wore it. Took out his rosary, started to mumble. He was copying what i did.
I do not see he has the initiative to meditate at all. He just do not want to lose.
What is the point ?
