Watching Aloha Festival Floral Parade

September 24, 2022, from 9-12 pm, 74th Annual Aloha Festival Floral Parade, today from Ala Moana Park through Kalakaua Avenue arriving at Kapiolani Park where you can visit floats up close. They were in hiatus, during the pandemic. Welcome back!
This year's theme, is Aloha Aina. Aloha Aina, means love of the land. Aloha Festival, is the largest Hawaiian cultural celebration in U.S.
Timeline:
1946 First Aloha Week flora parade held in Waikiki.
1952 First Waikiki Hoolaulea (block party.) held. Traditionally held Saturday before floral parade. This yr in September 17 at Kalakaua Avenue with, entertainment, food booths & shopping!
1991 Aloha Week, becomes Aloha Festival.
