Visited the newly opened M+ Museum in Hong Kong recently. It has quite a huge collection of 20th-21st century visual art. I enjoy museums. There are numerous fascinating museums in the world related to history, art, science, almost any topic you can name. Museums expand our knowledge and are inspiring. We can see the actual physical objects from the past. Over the years, I have visited The Palace Museum in Beijing, Louvre Museum in Paris, The British Museum in London, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Maritime Museum of The Atlantic in Halifax and all the major art, history and science museums in Hong Kong. The paintings give me a feeling of awe to look at. Although other artifacts are sort of eerie.

Before the pandemic, we would have a travel abroad and we mainly enjoyed visiting the museums, especially the arts or science museums. As to Hong KongScience Museum, my son liked to visit it since he was a little kid. We had so many nice memories there. Long time ago I heard it would have an upgrade but we haven't been there yet.

@Beestring Lately the pandemic rules became 0+3 in Hong Kong and this is a good sign for you.

@youless Hopefully, it's become 0+0 soon. How's the situation in your place? Still taking test every week?

I like the quiet but I can also find it in the library. I’m not very much into art but I like history

I've only visited one museum in New Zealand. I was so pleased seeing the aesthetic beauty of the paintings. How nice to go to the museum of Vincent Van Gough.

Only because the history they teach us shows us-how we got life the way it is today & -steps we need to take to avoid letting life get the way we didn't like it.

Yes, you have a point there. But sadly, human doesn't seem to learn from history. History always repeats itself.
