Am Watching "Pocketful of Miracles" Again

I am watching "Pocketful of Miracles" for the umpteenth time. I love this movie. It stars Bette Davis, Glen Ford, Hope Lang and Ann- Margaret with a lot of other characters and other actors a good movie watcher would know.
It is the story of an apple vendor in New York City. Apple Annie. She has been paying for her beautiful daughter to go to school in Spain. Her daughter sends her a letter saying she is coming to visit and introduce her to her fiance. Annie freaks. Dave the Duke (Ford) and Queenie(Hope Lang)comes to her aid. It ends in the banquet given to celebrate her daughter's engagement and the governor and mayor show up, among others, after hearing the story from news people. It is such a heartwarming story. I cry every time I see it.

Her daughter is coming to town and the gangster guy helps her. It is a great story.

It is an older movie. Those are the kind I really enjoy. This one was made in 1961.
