We already know he will die, but we were shocked when he did.

I received a very sad news yesterday.
The hubby of a beloved cousin succumbed to his cancer and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
He was diagnosed with cancer 7 years ago.
He fought, went through all the chemo, radiography, and medications to fight the dreaded disease. He was in remission, traveled, continued to live his life for all those years.
A month ago, he informed us that the cancer has returned, this time, it’s very aggressive that he no longer responds to chemo and medications. He was given 2 months to live.
We visited him on the 8th of the month. On the 24th, he died.
We were all shocked. It was too soon, the 2 months isn’t even up.
When we saw him, he was very frail, but his mind is so bright that he didn’t even look like he was dying.
We were glad that we came to see him before he died.
His funeral will be in two days, hubby and I are going.
He was a good man.

Sorry for your loss. He seemed to have lead a good life and fought with all he could. May he rest in peace.
