Listening over the Radio

I like listening my local radio stations. There is always open forums on matters affecting the people economically, political, and socially.
So the listeners are actually being given the chance to air their concerns and views on the same.
So I don't really like the idea of wasting my time and money on being heard over the radio participating on the same and at the end of the day the opinions cannot change anything in the burning issues.
What about you?

@Treborika I only ever really listen to the radio when I'm in the car with my dad. I do enjoy it. Some stations I like to avoid though. Depends what mood I'm in. I've never rang in before. I enjoy listening to others who call in though sometimes.

I play radio while driving. I like listening to locals on various forums as long as they keep playing good music in between 
. I have never called them and would never do that. One of my cousins is a radio jockey and she enjoys talking to callers on her show.

I love having radio on in the background. I learn many things while I am busy doing something. I haven't tried calling a radio station and sending text messages to them
