A peacock!

The most exciting bird we saw during our overnight stay at the nature resort was a peacock. We actually saw a couple. This one was kept playing the hiding game with us and I couldnt capture a closer shot. They're beautiful aren't they??!!

My Mum had them when we lived on the farm. They are certainly beautiful.

@pitstop We had them in amongst our chickens. There are no wild ones in Australia - not that I know about anyway.

This one had a shorter tail than I expected. We saw another one with a longer tail.

A peacock with its full stretched wings is one of the most beautiful sights of nature, it's our national bird as well.
