Have any of you followed the trial or the case of Jeffrey Dahmer? I have heard of him but not sure if I followed the case at all. It came to Netflix recently and so I decided to watch it. As it opens he is in a bar with 3 black guys that are gay and he is gay also. He has murdered and dismembered bodies. The last guy he brought home that tried to murder escaped and the police saw this guy wandering around and they all went back to Jeffrey's apartment and found the knife and photos of those he murdered. Jeffrey started to run but the p0olice caught him and arrested him. They called his parents and the father answered the phone and went down to police headquarters and the father said after he had a hernia operation at the age of 4 he was never the same. Maybe that is what turned him into a serial killer. Who knows? He was a monster and now the father is sitting at police headquarters and that is as far as I have gotten. I will stop here and not sure anyone wants to hear more. I noticed there are 10 episodes. He is very sick. The person thing when people would go into his apartment would smell something. He would make up lies about the smell. He is a sex offender on Parole. He killed only men. I am curious and will watch to the end. Here is a link about him for those that want to read about him. His parents argued all the time and he was exposed to that. I noticed he liked to spend time with is father.

@Rimps85 It really happened. and he was a serial killer. Yes, it is a documentary on his life. It is 10 episodes on Netflix. I have heard of him but did not know exactly what he did. So, when it came to Netflix recently I decidedto watch it. It is called Dahmer.

I started watching it because my husband turned it on. I usually love shows like this but I don’t find it very interesting. I’m on episode 8.

@Hannihar I don’t think he cares for it much as he will leave the room and shower and not pause it. I’m surprised he even started watching it to begin with that’s not usually his thing. He likes fishing shows and comedy acts.

@shaggin I wonder why he keeps it on but goes away and knows you do not like it so it doesn't make sense to me if someone like other things and does not like this why they would put it on. I am glad I can watch other things if I do not like something.

@shaggin I have heard of him so I believe he was a serial killer but do not know anything else about him. Did he see the whole thing or did he turn it off and if he turned it off will he turn it back on again do you think?

@RebeccasFarm I was hoping when Sophie got older she would not bite but she still does and some people for no reason. Me, she must be angry at me that she still bites me. I have to learn to be better than the scum and evil out there and be a better person for my sake and for Sophie. I want to teach her to be good and not bad.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, he was very awful. There are paths in life and he took that one and others have taken another path. I had a hard life and still do and I do I can be better but words come out of my mouth that are not nice and have to think and do not always. I have to try and be a better person and teach Sophie to be a better cat.

@CarolDM Yes, I know that there are those out there that do know about ones like him and if something comes on where they are they do not want to watch about it. I did not know much that I am aware of so decided to watch it.

@Hannihar What's the title??? Honestly 10 episodes is a bit compared to the Chinese drama series.

@sickly09 Maybe it needed 10 episodes to find out all the stuff so we would not have to watch again. It is called Dahmer.

@snowy22315 So since you have seen other programs about him I bet you are programmed out and I can understand why you would pass on this one.

We are familiar with Dahmer and other serial killers - we have watched various documentaries over the years too. They are very sick, yet it is interesting (and sad) piecing together how they may have come to be.

@Hannihar It would be difficult to put ourselves in their shoes (well, I wouldn't want to), but there are sickos like him out there.

@rebelann I can understand why you would not want to read about them. I wanted to know how he got the way he did. We have paths in life. Some have bad lives and do not go on to do what he did and others do. I wanted to understand and know things so I am watching it. I hope to finish it today and see what is lighter to watch before I have to get off the computer and turn the TV off for our Day of Atonement. That is a big fast. It is about 25 hours we fast from sundown to sundown the next day. All of our holidays and things start the night before. Tomorrow night starts that holiday and then Sunday night the last holiday right now.
