As promised to @CarolDM “Woman, Woman” is the debut single by American pop rock group Gary Puckett & The Union Gap. It was on their 1968 album of the same name. The song was written and composed by Jim Glaser and Jimmy Payne. The session musicians were from The Wrecking Crew. This song is a ballad centered around the soulful voice of Gary Puckett. The song made it on the Cash Box and Billboard Hot 100 charts. In 1968 it was Certified Gold and was a success also in Canada where it went to number one, in Australia, and in the UK.

Great song along with "Young Girl." I saw Puckett on one of those 60's revival tours with The Turtles and some other performers from that era. He still had his great vocals

Thank you for the mention. I remember this one well from my sister and her friends.
